Catch the bus to KU football games
The City of Lawrence invites KU football fans to park in Downtown Lawrence for free, then catch a ride on Route 4 to and from all home games during this football season. Bus service in Lawrence is fare free. Fans can enjoy downtown restaurants and shops before and after the game.
PARKING
Parking in the lower level and ramp of the Riverfront Parking Garage and the top level of the Vermont Street Parking Garage will be free for weekend game days. These parking garages can be found on the map by visiting www.lawrenceks.org/parking.
LOCATION
New this year: There is only one boarding location downtown for this service, at the bus stop in the 700 block of Vermont, across from the Lawrence Public Library. Look for the KU buses. Passengers using ADA transit service to the game will be picked up at both the Riverfront Parking Garage and the Vermont Street Parking Garage.
FREQUENCY
The service will run two hours prior to kick-off and 90 minutes after the game. To better accommodate football crowds, we are adding frequency to our regular Route 4 schedule. For Saturday games, you can expect a bus to come every 20 minutes. On Friday games, buses will come every 15 minutes. Post-game service will run every 10 minutes and stop at both parking garages.
